I don't hire salespeople.
I build closers.

I'm Vinnie Rodriguez — Chairman & Director of Conventional Lending at one of NYC's most active funding desks, involved in securing $100M+ for business owners. I'm expanding my personal team, and I'm looking for experienced MCA closers who are done working for shops that cap their ceiling.

The Opportunity

High-ticket commissions. Real leads. A mentor who closes.

$70K–$200K

Annual commission range

What producing closers on desks like this earn in commissions — with top performers exceeding it. Uncapped, always.

Day 1

Pre-qualified leads

No cold lists, no dialing into the void. Tangible, pre-qualified business-owner leads supplied to you from your first day.

100+

Lending partners

MCA is the door, not the ceiling: SBA, lines of credit, equipment finance, factoring — a full shelf means more deals close.

Weekly pay through ramp

Temporary weekly pay while you build your pipeline, plus daily performance bonuses on top of commission.

Learn conventional lending

Most MCA reps stay MCA reps. On my team you learn the SBA and conventional side — the skill set that turns a closer into a career finance professional.

Direct mentorship

You work under my standard: transparent selling, complete files, honest structuring. The reps who hold it earn more, for longer, with clients who come back.

Why Listen to Me

I walked onto this desk with
zero sales experience.

No book of business. No scripts. No uncle in finance. In 2018 I came into this industry from economic development work in the Peace Corps — I had never closed a deal in my life. What I had was discipline and the willingness to outwork the room.

Since then I've been part of securing over $100 million for business owners, built a conventional lending division from scratch, earned a Chairman title — and generated six-figure personal income year after year, on commission, in this exact seat.

Here's the math that should keep you up tonight: I did that starting from zero. You're already a closer with a year or more of MCA reps under your belt. On this desk, with these leads and this product shelf — what's your ceiling?

Who I Want

The bar is high on purpose.

  • Minimum 1 year of MCA experience. You know what a factor rate is, you've handled stips, and you've closed over the phone. Non-negotiable.
  • Closer mentality. Charismatic, competitive, allergic to excuses. You follow up until there's an answer.
  • Strong command of English and excellent communication — you can hold the room with a business owner doing $2M a year.
  • CRM proficiency. You work a pipeline like a professional, not a legal pad.
  • Outbound and warm-calling expertise. Negotiation is your comfort zone.
  • In person, Midtown Manhattan, Monday–Friday. This desk runs on energy you can't get over Zoom. If you're not local, be ready to relocate before your start date.
